The purpose of the consultation was to seek views on how to best manage and reduce the scheme’s impacts on the landscape and environment.
Following previous consultation and engagement, we consulted on the two best performing options for the Waterbeach to Cambridge busway and three different options for a new Waterbeach park and ride.
Our Executive Board approved the recommendation to take forward the revised central alignment and Park & Ride site option C in September 2023.
Following public engagement in the autumn of 2019 and the summer of 2020, we developed a number of options to improve transport to the north of Cambridge. Feedback was sought on proposals in four areas of interest:
